Tonina started her hockey career in 1987 playing Minkeys with her cousins Kirsty and Jason Sleeman and sister Megan. Both Tonina and Megan went onto play for the Canberra Strikers, Tonina playing 54 games. Tonina went on to represent Australia in the over 35’s Masters in New Zealand in 2016.
Tonina recently celebrated her 400th first grade game and continues to play in Uniteds CL1 womens team. Tonina is one of only 2 people playing currently that has scored more goals than games played this season. Keep ’em coming Weens!
