Welcome back from the holiday break and to the 2015 winter season. Hope everyone had a great time off. No doubt we’ve all started thinking about the 2015 season and some pre-season jogs to try and lose some of those Christmas kilos… well below are the details.
Women’s Preseason
Women’s Preseason will commence on 3 February 2015.
- Tuesday 6.30-7.30pm pitch time at the National Hockey Centre with a designated skills program to be published prior to commencement.
- Thursday 6.30 – 7.30pm fitness session specific to hockey to be run by an accredited personal trainer.
This pre-season schedule is free to persons who are selected in the capital league squad in 2015 as there will be fundraising undertaken over the year to cover the costs.
Note – To be considered for capital league grading you must attend pre-season.
State League players are also welcome, however, may incur additional costs.
New and existing members are more than welcome.
Season Grading – Grading for women’s teams will be conducted on 3 March 2015.

Men’s Preseason
Men’s Preseason will commence on Thursday 5th February 2015.
- Thursday 6.00 – 7.30pm fitness session specific to hockey to be run by CL1 men’s Coach, Luke MacKinnon.
Note – To be considered for Capital League squad you must attend pre-season.
State League players are also welcome and encouraged to attend.
New members are also more than welcome.
Locations – If you haven’t been receiving the emails from Mr. MacKinnon, The venue has been varying please download the whatsapp to your phone, this is a must for CL players, to get up to date information.
The Thursday 6pm sessions will continue until the first week of March when we’re on the pitch
- Tuesday 7-8 – State and Capital League Training at the National Hockey Centre
- Thursday 8-9 – Capital League Squad Training at the National Hockey Centre
