Our Club

The Heart of United Hockey Club

Established in 1954 as Presbyterian Hockey Club, United Hockey Club is a family-oriented club that embraces inclusivity and community spirit. We provide competitive men’s and women’s teams while nurturing junior talent through our structured programs.

United Hockey Club began as a church club and has blossomed into a thriving club with deep community roots. Our long history was recognized with the ACT Chief Minister’s Canberra Gold Award on 4 March 2020, acknowledging more than 50 years of service to the Canberra community.

We proudly serve a diverse community of players aged 4 to adults across various divisions. Our focus on fun and development has attracted families from all walks of life.

The Club has maintained a strong commitment to junior development programs since the 1950’s. Its 1970 A-grade premiership team was made up predominantly of players who progressed from the Club’s junior ranks.
